Company momentum fuels expansion of management team with the appointment of a COO to manage continued growth and innovation.
TORONTO – April 10, 2018 – Nudge Rewards announced today the appointment of Ryan Poissant as the company’s first Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this new executive leadership role at Nudge, Poissant will focus on ensuring operational excellence as the company scales.

A veteran of scaling early-stage technology companies, Poissant was most recently Executive Lead, Corporate Engagement at MaRS Discovery District, an innovation hub based in Toronto. While at MaRS, he helped corporate partners connect to the innovation ecosystem, delivered executive education programming, and advised growth-stage ventures. He leveraged his deep understanding of the problems large enterprises face, and how they discover, procure, and implement technology solutions.
While at MaRS, Poissant was an advisor to Nudge Rewards, working closely with the founding team for more than five years. He played an important role in facilitating several early introductions to customers, team members, and investors.

Poissant brings to Nudge Rewards more than 15 years of leadership experience with high-growth technology companies in the areas of strategy, business development, marketing, M&A, operations, and product management. Prior to MaRS, Poissant was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Customer1, an enterprise software company focused on the CRM market. His startup experience includes establishing the Canadian operations of eStara, a customer engagement solutions company acquired by ATG (subsequently acquired by Oracle); and being the co-founder and CEO of Cobblestone, a startup enabling multi-channel CRM program execution.
